LANTIKAN PPP U41/42 BARU

nak apply Jururawat U41/42 kener berdaftar dengan Lembaga Jururawat ....boleh apply kot mana tahu dorang terima....

nak pakat2 jadi nurse pulak.....apa dah jadi.......agaknya umpan dah mengena kot......diaorg punya org lagi ramai ambik ni course.

para nurse sebenarnya mengambil kesempatan.untuk mencukupi korum setiap cohort NPD, makanya PPP diambil jugak untuk memenuhi kuota tersebut..yang untungnya adalah nurse yang dah ader degree tersebut..peluang mereka untuk U42 adalah cerah...bagi PPP pulak..mereka hanya menggigit jari..

manakala bagi PPP pulak degree yang berkaitan sering kali berubah-rubah..sebelum ni KKM/Lembaga menyenaraikan Forensik..kenapa kini ia digugurkan..mengapa?

adakah juga pihak lembaga atau KKM akan mengambil kira degree baru dari mahsa HPD kerana sudah ramai PPP ambik degree ni...tapi kalau diperiksa sebenarnya HPD belum diiktiraf oleh JPA..ini kan pulak KKM.

Kalau NPD sememangnya diakui ia telah diiktiraf oleh JPA/kerajaan...tapi yang amat menyedihkan adalah mengapa KKM/Lembaga tidak menyenaraikan NPD untuk kelayakan ijazah diiktiraf untuk PPP bagi iklan kenaikan/memangku U42 pada 24/5/2010????

Mungkin kita sebagai PPP boleh bawa perkara ni kepada pengetahuan YAB PM..dengan kepercayaan beliau kepada PPP dalam menguruskan dasar pemberian kesihatan menyeluruh kepada penduduk miskin bandar dalam projek 1MC, adalah mustahil beliau tidak mendengar luahan kecil hati para PPP ini.

Tidak mustahil jugak...PPP U42 diarahkan bertugas di 1MC bagi memastikan standard IMC itu sendiri nanti...

Lembaga/Kesatuan yg mengenalkan NPD MAHSA kepada PPP agar kononnya isu Related mengikut jalan pendek ini dapat dipenuhi kekosongan U42 dgn secepat mungkin.
Pada hemat Teman perkara ini berlaku adalah atas Desakan Persatuan/Kesatuan Nursing.

Jadi utk tidak merugikan mana2 PPP Lembaga Kesatuan/Persatuan Pembantu Perubatan memberi peluang membuka kenaikan kepada pemegang apa2 Degree boleh memohon .Tiada mensyaratkan Ijazah berkaitan tersenarai. kerana PPP ini sudah pun mendaftar dgn Lembaga PP.
Sedangkan U36 boleh melompat terus ke U42 Tanpa Sebarang Degree.

teman cadangkan inilah masanya bagi pihak berwajib......./persatuan/kesatuan, membawa perkara ini seperti yg dinytakan,memandangkan profesion kita dah dikenali dan banyak jasanya dalam memberi perkhidmatan kesihatan akibat kekurang doktor yang takkan pernah cukup-cukup ntah bila dan menjadi harapan misi klnik 1 malaysia PM pula tu. Yang sebenarnya banyak delima dan ranjau dalam melanjutkan pelajaran/pembangunan kerjaya.

Pihak Lembaga mengatatakan akan memasukkan semula degree forensik ke dalam syarat kelayakan...MAHSA pun boleh gaks bocoz related.... Hehehehe....sapa2 ada degree yg x related diaorang kata tak payah mohon la wat penat jer sbb tak akan dipanggil temuduga ponk. Ada kes Degree Sains Pemakanan di panggil temuduga katanya kesilapan pihak SPA hehehe... pusing3.

apa yg nak dipusingkan bro...dia orang kat lembanga tu (U36) tunggu peluang untuk mereka dulu... MAHSA related walaupun tidak tersenarai...ini menunjukkan mereka yang membuat keputusan, bukan SPA??? jadi di sini, boleh disimpulkan bahawa mereka memang tidak pandang pada mereka yang ada degree yang tidak related tu... tunggu la product MAHSA tu... caiyok, caiyok..bangun dari tidur mu bro

SPA kata boleh mohon walau tak related.....nanti mereka akan rujuk kepada Lembaga PPP...sah lah Lembaga yang buat keputusan bukan SPA.

few days a go....i got i frend interview 4 post PPP U41....im very suprise that our PPPM mentioned only degree related....have chances to get U41....member aku 2 punya lah terkejut berok bila KPPPM ckp mcm 2 dalam bilik interview bersama SPA. waki SPA pon "caoyalah" jadinya......

satu peristiwa lagi semasa interview...yg memmeranjatkan berok boss tu kata semua degree yang related kalau nak di relatedkan perlulah mereka2 ini buat kertas kerja....dan 4ward tu SPA...dan member tu ckp bukan Lembaga ker yg membantu....tidak......mereka yang dad degree ni yg pakat2 dan buat kerjas kerja...

nampak betul Lembaga ni tak berperanan untuk anak2 buah yg ada peluang nak meningkatkan profesion...kesian..dah lah tu...kat bilik interview pun isu ni di keluarkan bersama pihak SPA.....

member aku dok tercengnang dan tak tau nak wat apa......kecian dia...danharapan tinggal harapan dan sudah pasti dia tak confiden dpt U41 kali ni....

....saya berpendapat sudah tiba masanya KKM menstruktur semula latihan dan kelayakkan bagi jawatan Penolong Pegawai Perubatan di malaysia ni...bagi saya modul yang paling baik sekali ialah Physician Assistant di Amerika. Berpandukkan modul tersebut...Physician assistant mempunyai 3 tahap akademik dari peringkat ijazah, ijazah tinggi dan PHD. Modul ini dikatakan sangat sesuai kerana mempunyai skop yang sama dengan PPP di Malaysia. Berikut adalah bentuk persijilan bagi PA di US :


As of May 2008, there were 142 accredited PA programs in the United
States.
The majority are graduate programme leading to the
award of master's degree in either Physician
Assistant Studies (Master of Physician Assistant Studies),
Master of Health Science or Master of Medical Science,
and require a bachelor's degree and graduate record examination or medical college admission test scores for entry. Some PA rograms are starting to offer a clinical doctorate degree (Doctor of
Science Physician Assistant or DScPA), while a few still award an undergraduate bachelor's, but many of these are
transitioning to graduate-level training. Professional licensure is
regulated by the medical boards of the individual states.
Physician assistant education is based on the medical model
although unlike medical school which lasts four years plus a
specialty-specific residency, PA training is usually 2 to 3 years in
duration. However, most PA students start their medical education with a
background of health care experience. The didactic training of PA
education consists of classroom and laboratory instruction in medical
and behavioral sciences, such as anatomy, microbiology, pharmacology,
pathophysiology, hematology, pathology, clinical medicine, and physical

emergency medicine, and geriatric medicine, as well as elective
rotations. Many PA schools do not differentiate between the first year

to complete such residencies. Despite this, there are "residency"
programs in certain specialties for PAs who choose to continue formal
education in such a format.
Struktur latihan bagi peringkat Diploma rasanya tak perlu di ubah cuma bagi peringkat ijazah cuma perlukan 2 tahun dengan 'credit transfer' bagi mencukupkan 'credit hour'. Dengan adanya struktur latihan yang lebih khusus tidak timbul lagi masalah related @ tidak related. Ini juga sesuai dengan saranan yang di kemukakan oleh Tan Sri KPK agar ada ijazah yang lebih khusus bagi Penolong Pegawai Perubatan. Tak perlu lagi bergantung kepada ijazah Kejururawatan dll.

Perkembangan kerjaya Physician Assistant di seluruh dunia menunjukkan perkembangan yang menakjubkan di mana banyak negara-negara telah memulakan latihan bagi PA seperti dibawah :
Australia


Two PA programs in Australia are planned to open in 2009 at the University of Queensland and James Cook University.
Canada


The PA concept is being explored in Canada,
where Canadian military PAs are gaining legislative changes
allowing them to work in the civilian world after retirement.Education programs are now offered at the University of Manitoba in Winnipeg, McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario, The University of
Western Ontario in London, Ontario, and the University of Toronto. Programs are 24
months in length.
England


In England,
U.S.-trained PAs are working in a pilot project in Sandwell and West
Birmingham.Education programs are now being offered by four universities: University of Birmingham, University of Wolverhampton, University of Hertfordshire
(operating as Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire Postgraduate Medical
School, in conjunction with the University of Bedfordshire), and St George's, University of
London. The University of Warwick and University of
Coventry have also explored offering these programs, but did not
implement them due to a lack of need. However, the NHS trusts in the West Midlands are currently
forecasting a large-scale need for PAs.
Also formally referred to as "Medical Care Practitioners", PAs are to
be employed by the National Health Service. Though
currently not a registered profession, PAs can currently practice under
delegation rules and it is expected that the required legislation will
be taken before Parliament with the UK's General Medical Council
expected to become the registering body. Programs are 24 months in
length and are a Post-Graduate Diploma with the option of "topping up"
to a Master's degree either by full or part-time study.^[25]
Training is in the areas of General Medicine (including
Emergency/Medical Assessment Units), Emergency Medicine (A&E) and
General Practice.
The interests of PAs in the UK are currently being looked after by
the UK Association of Physician Assistants.^[26]
Netherlands


The Netherlands has educational programs at the Academie
Gezondheidszorg in Utrecht, University of Arnhem/Nijmegen,
the University of Groningen and the University of Leiden.
Programs are 30 months in length.
Scotland


Pilot projects in Scotland are underway, but no official educational
programs have been implemented as of 2008.
South Africa


One program is now offered in South Africa at the University of
Witwatersrand.
United States


In
the Federal Government, Uniformed Services, and U.S. Armed Forces


PAs are employed by the United States Department of State as
Foreign Service Health Practitioners (FSHP). PAs working in this
capacity may be deployed anywhere in the world where there is a State
Department facility. They provide primary care to authorized members of
the state department. In order to be considered for the position of FSHP
these PAs must be licensed and have at least two years of recent
experience in primary care.^[29]
U.S. Army PAs typically serve as Medical Specialist
Corps officers within Army combat or combat
support battalions located in the continental US,
Alaska,
Hawaii
and overseas.^[30]
These include infantry, armor, cavalry,
airborne, artillery and (if the PA qualifies) Special Forces units. They serve as the
"front line" of Army medicine and along with combat
medics are responsible for the total health care of soldiers
assigned to their unit, as well as of their family members.
PAs also serve in the Air Force and Navy as clinical practitioners and aviation medicine specialists, as well as in the Coast Guard and Public Health Service.
The skills required for these PAs are similar to that of their civilian
colleagues, but additional training is provided in advanced casualty
care, medical management of chemical injuries, aviation medicine and military medicine. In addition, military PAs are also
required to meet the officer commissioning requirements and maintain the
professional and physical readiness standards of their respective
services.

Employment is expected to grow much faster than the average
for all occupations. Job opportunities for PAs should be good, particularly in
rural and inner-city healthcare facilities.

Employment change. Employment of
physician assistants is expected to grow by 39 percent from 2008 to
2018, much faster than the average for all occupations. Projected rapid
job growth reflects the expansion of healthcare industries and an
emphasis on cost containment, which results in increasing use of PAs by
healthcare establishments.

Physicians and institutions are expected to employ more PAs to
provide primary care and to assist with medical and surgical procedures
because PAs are cost-effective and productive members of the healthcare
team. Physician assistants can relieve physicians of routine duties and
procedures. Healthcare providers will use more physician assistants as
States continue to expand PAs� scope of practice by allowing them to
perform more procedures.

Besides working in traditional office-based settings, PAs should find
a growing number of jobs in institutional settings such as hospitals,
academic medical centers, public clinics, and prisons.

Job prospects. Job opportunities
for PAs should be good, particularly in rural and inner-city clinics
because those settings have difficulty attracting physicians. Job
openings will result both from employment growth and from the need to
replace physician assistants who retire or leave the occupation
permanently. Opportunities will be best in States that allow PAs a
wider scope of practice.
