Windfall Awaits Terengganu Footballers If State Team Becomes Double Champions

KUALA TERENGGANU, May 31 (Bernama) -- A European tour awaits the Terengganu soccer team if they cam emerge as champions of the FA Cup and Super League this season.

This announcement was made by Terengganue Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Ahmad Said as incentive for the "Turtle Squad" to win the FA Cup final at the National Stadium in Bukit Jalil on June 11, in addition to topping the Super League.

"If Terengganu succeeds in bringing home the FA Cup and wins the Super League, visits to London and Europe await the players," he told reporters after handing over the state flag to the state's contingent to the Malaysia Games here Monday night.

Ahmad said for support and encouragement to all the players, the state government and the Terengganu Football Association would send as many supporter groups as possible to witness the final of the FA Cup.
