Kelantan Return To Top Of Super League After Trouncing Terengganu 3-0





KUALA LUMPUR, June 6 (Bernama) -- Kelantan, or better known as the Red
Warriors, return to the top of the Super League table after they
defeated Terengganu 3-0 at Ismail Nasiruddin Shah Stadium in Kuala
Terengganu Monday night.

With remaining two matches, the squad coached by M. Karathu now have 50 points.

Terengganu's dream to defeat Kelantan at their own turf failed when
Mohd Azuan Solahudin scored the first goal in the 7th minute before
Norshahrul Idlan Talaha scored the other two in the 72nd and 92nd
minute.

With the defeat, Terengganu are third on the table with 47 points,
while Selangor are second with 48 points after thrashing Perlis 7-1 at
Shah Alam Stadium.

In PAROI, Negeri Sembilan also recorded a comfortable win, defeating T-Team 4-0 at Tuanku Abdul Rahman Stadium.

Mohd Firdaus Azizul presented the Rusa squad with two goals in the 22nd
and 42nd minute after S. Kunanlan scored the first goal in the very
first minute.

Hairuddin Omar completed the victory for Negeri Sembilan with another goal in the 46th minute.

In JOHOR BAHARU, Johor FC failed to take advantage of playing at their own fort when they only managed to draw 1-1 with Perak.

Both teams scored one point each after the match which was held at the JCorp Pasir Gudang Stadium.

In KELANA JAYA, Felda United lost 1-2 to Kedah at the Petaling Jaya City Council Stadium.
