Seperti pada portal forum lama tahun lepas kawe dah bagi definasi dan web APAA.....jadi Sempena nama baru MA ditukar kepada mirip Physician assistant di USA.....jadi elok sikit kalo kita kenali apa PA ni....

Physician assistants work under the supervision of a physician. However, PAs may be the principal care providers in rural or inner city clinics, where a physician is present for only 1 or 2 days each week. In such cases, the PA confers with the supervising physician and other medical professionals as needed and as required by law. PAs also may make house calls or go to hospitals and nursing care facilities to check on patients, after which they report back to the physician

Apa pendapat tuan PPP keseluruhan dan terutama yg manpir sekali di KK boleh kita unjurkan satu definasi Kamus dewan makna PPP ni kepada bahas dan negara kita supaya senang kita membuat referral atau affiliate...e.g PA usa ni....

An experianced Pembantu Perubatan can do the job of a doctor confidently in areas were super specialization is not required.Hospital Assistant has handled more cases than the doctors in the Health centres and District Hospitals.But unfortunately good performance are masked by the presence of another superior officer who enjoy the merits of the hospital assistant.The merits of Hospital Assistant will not come to the surface as long as istilah 'work under the supervision of the doctor' is taken as the M.A can't work in the absence of the doctor. To me " The expertise of the MA should not be viewed in the presence or the absence of the doctor ,it should be valued on merits only. An MA works hard, confident,well knowledge,obedient may even remain as U29 ,where else your doctor with whom you have worked the same given period would have attained JUSA-C. There is no medical officer or any kumpulan professional who remain as U41 or equivalent but the vast majority of paramedic will remain in the position as joined the profession.As Pen.Pegawai perubatan promotion chances, better carrier development should follow as well.The Medical Officer are experiencing promotion as early as four years from U41 to U44 than to U48 in 10 yrs. My humble request is that similar operandi should also prevail for the Pen.Peg.Perubatan. Start with U29 after after 4 year at least U32 ,10 years to U36 than 15 years U38, than to consider for U41 and above under rank and file promotion. Mere chancing of name is not convincing enough for the PPP

good idea bro.. but to apply this you need more monet.. every single jawatan baru application come with new economic impact..

But what is our vision..? to be competent in sub speciality in clinical or to be the manager of any health/hospital organisation... Nowadays there are seldom PPP we cherish as the champion in clinical site...

Think we should do something about it.. Coz if we gamble too much on management .. may be someday the so called PA is just the talk in the past..

well, why we should select either clinical or management, why not both? we need to penetrate both fields as our core businesses just like MO. Who like to do clinical just get related further certification and as well to management. But the big issue here is how can we differentiate between our specialty with MO jobs. need further and deep brainstorming...

mmg harapan kita nak jadi seperti PA.... tp sistem pentadbiran dan pengurusan kita tidak membenarkan kita.... malah ma dah semakin kuasa dan semakin kurang dipercayai dalam tindakan ..... bila ini terjadi semakin sukar kerja MA dan MA untuk bertugas.... walaupun telah diwar2kan perubahan skop kerja dan pertambahan beban kerja. tapi pertambahan tersebut dalam keadaan kuasa yang terhad.. apa tindakan kita sekarang perlu perubahan akta yang diseragamkan di semua tempat agar kuasa kita tidak terhad dgn kebenaran dr sahaja contohnya perscribe ubat sesetngah klinik dr membenarkan kita perscribe ubat EES tanpa counter sain tp ada sesetngah klinik perlukan counter sain dr Mo... jika dikaji balik akta, buku biru dan dibuat sejelasnya mngkin undang2 dan bidang tugas khas amo pasti takkan berlaku AMO melakukan tugas luar dari bidang kuasa nya... dan jika berlaku apa2 tiadasiapa akan backup amo..... walaupun kita ada sop tapi blum cukup untuk melindungi PPP yang bertugas tanpa perlindungan dari undang2 seperti akta yang lebih khusus berbanding akta sekarang.... jika contoh akta mengatakan kita tidak dibenarkan memberi mc ini bermaksud kita tidak layak. kebnyakan kita memberi mc atas kebenaran dr sahaja.... tp jika berlaku apa2 masalah ketika ketiadaan dr dimana kita memberi mc dan mc 2 tlah mendatangkan masalah kepada PPP maka kita akan dipersalahkan.... dan bersyukur nya kita ada akta yg membenarkan penggunaan peralatan tertentu....berbanding lain2 jawatan . ini bermaksud org lain tak boleh pertikai jika kita menggunakan peralatan contonya stetoskop.....
